A platform that allows its clients to access events that will be translated online in real time. For this, three platform components are planned: a responsive web application for the creator, the translator, and the participant.

The challenge

The main challenge of the project lies in creating a comprehensive technology platform that enables video event playback with multilingual translations, complex event management, and monetization options. The challenge is to seamlessly merge video streaming technology with accurate translation tools, ensuring an optimal user experience for both event organizers and attendees, while facilitating interaction among different user roles such as event creators, interpreters, and sponsors to guarantee effective collaboration and successful event execution.

Goals

  • Develop a video event playback platform with multilingual capabilities and tools for comprehensive event management, from creation to streaming and monetization.
  • Develop a robust and user-friendly technology platform that enables video event playback, with support for multilingual translations and the inclusion of documents and images.
  • Enable users to create, organize, and manage events, allowing scheduling of live broadcasts and the possibility to pre-record content, as well as the inclusion of individual or sequenced sessions.
  • Establish distinct roles for event creators and interpreters, granting the former the ability to organize and customize events, and the latter the ability to provide translations according to the required languages.
  • Allow sponsors to participate in created events and offer products during sessions for attendees to purchase, generating monetization opportunities for organizers.

Solution

The solution to this project represents a significant advancement for the users involved. From the perspective of event creators, the platform offers a comprehensive tool that simplifies the planning, organization, and execution of events, allowing live or recorded streaming, multimedia content inclusion, and interaction with sponsors to generate additional revenue. For interpreters, the solution provides the opportunity to apply their language skills by delivering accurate, real-time translations that expand the reach of events to a global audience. Finally, attendees enjoy an enriching and accessible experience, with the ability to access multilingual events, purchase products during sessions, and actively participate, enhancing their engagement with the presented content.
